Irati Ortuondo is a final-year Telecommunications Engineering student working on her bachelor’s thesis in the Hi-SNR lab. Her research focuses on combining radiometer and radar measurements to improve the estimation of vegetation water content and enhance the monitoring of wildfires. Throughout her studies, Irati has developed a strong background in telecommunications systems, signal processing, and data analysis. She is passionate about combining engineering principles with real-world applications to design innovative and efficient communication solutions. Outside of her academic work, Irati enjoys sports, spending time with friends and dancing.
